Another fun filled day in DC!  We started off the morning with a trip to the National Zoo.  It is awesome.  We are used to the North Carolina zoo that is SO big and spread out that it takes all day to go through and you walk miles.  The National Zoo is free, more compact and lovely!  The Asian Trail was our favorite.  We saw Giant Pandas, meerkats and elephants.  Lucy loved it all.  I loved that we found free parking across the street from... 

We are having a fabulous time in DC.  Yesterday we went to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.  My family loved it.  Lucy decided she wants to fly airplanes when she grows up.  She especially liked the 747 cockpit.  Lots of buttons to push!  There is so much to see, and lots to do.  After the museum, we took Lucy on the carousel outside the Smithsonian visitors center.  She had a blast.  So much so that we had to promise to go back again...
