So this is the third installment for slow cooker chili month. I picked this recipe as a tribute to my growing up in Wisconsin. There was a restaurant that served chili. They were famous for serving it on top of spagehetti noodles. Yum. This recipe is super easy and a fine choice for Super Bowl Sunday! Enjoy the game and the commercials, whichever you prefer to watch on game day!
Slow Cooker Chili with Noodles
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef, browned
1 can red kidney beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1/4 cup water
1 pack chili seasoning
2-3 cups cooked spagetthi noodles
1 Tablespoon butter or margarine
Shredded cheddar cheese and diced raw onions for topping
Directions
Mix ground beef, beans, tomatoes, water and chili seasoning in slow cooker cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours. While cooking chili, boil noodles and drain. Add butter to noodles. Serve chili over noodles and top with shredded cheese and onions.
