I came up with this chili recipe all on my own. We got snowed in again here in NC again! Twice in one winter, I think I’m gonna have to move to Florida! I did not make a pre-snow mad rush to the grocery store so I was left to invent my chili recipe with what I had on hand. It turned out delicious!
Slow Cooker Pizza Chili
Ingredients
1/2 pound cooked chicken, chopped
4 ounces pepperoni, sliced in quarters
1/2 cup onions, thinly sliced
2 cups crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce
1 tomato, chopped
1 can Northern white beans, drained
3-4 pickled banana peppers, sliced
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon powdered garlic
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup water
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
Cook onions and minced garlic in skillet until onions are tender. Pour all ingredients except cheese, into the slow cooker and mix gently. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1-1/2 hours or LOW 2-3 hours. During last 15 minutes of cooking top chili with shredded cheese.

This looks good! We’re snowed in today and I think this would be perfect. Will have to cook up some frozen chicken tenders, but that’s easy!
WOW! That sounds really good, I know my hubby would really love that. Thanks for your creativity.
YUM! snow days are great for recipe inventions!
