At first thought, I really kind of cringe at the thought of pearls. I am not the traditional country club living iced tea sipping lady who wears pearls. My first experience with pearls? My mom bought me some pearl earrings for my 18th birthday. I’d rather have had a new radio for my car. I only say this because, wow. Pearls are no longer only for the sorority girls. Pearl variety goes far beyond the classic cream colored pearls your mother used to wear. From pink to purple and even black, there is a pearl type for everyone.
Pearl Paradise generously sent me an amazing necklace made from Akoya Pearls for me to love and enjoy. I am. The color is pure black and definitely provides a different look than traditional strand of pearls. All of the pearls are 6.5 -7.0 mm AA+ (round or pretty close) and individually knotted on silk thread and that is finished with a solid 14-karat, white- or yellow-gold fishhook clasp. The necklace is well made and is the perfect length, in my opinion. How does it look? I think exceptional. I love the deepness of the color and the necklace actually feels nice around my neck.
Now you know that the pearls are nice, but how are the prices: even nicer. Pearl Paradise boasts their affordable prices. Each items comes with an appraisal of the retail value of the item you purchased. The necklace I received came with an appraisal value 5 times what Pearl Paradise priced it. I wouldn’t take this appraisal for law, but instead make your own decision on the quality of the product you receive.

Now if black pearls aren’t your thing, they have many other options for choosing a Pearl Necklace. My personal favorites are the Tahitian Pearls and the Golden South Sea Pearls. Love them. Love.
