Top Ten Things I Learned in Chicago at BlogHer!

BlogHer ‘09 was an amazing experience. I met so many great women and I have come home with suitcase full of inspiration. While in Chicago, I stayed with my Cousin. This provided me with a very unique trip, chock full of new experiences. Here is my list of the Top Ten Things I Learned in Chicago at BlogHer:

1. Sleep is overrated. You can actually survive and thrive on 1 hour of sleep, provided that when you get home you are allowed to recover. I am attempting to recover, will keep you updated.

2. Liquid swag is a bad idea. Remember, a pint’s a pound the world round.

3. Walking through the city with high heels on could result in permanent foot damage.

4. The L is really really jerky. Must hold on.

5. I am not cut out for clubs.

6. People can be amazingly greedy over free stuff and seating.

7. The coolest people don’t travel in groups.

8. A smile goes a long way, just don’t smile on the L.

9. The best parties can be found in the locals’ backyards, especially if there is a band.
10. While it may sound like a good idea to stay with Cousin, it may result in horribly swollen, blistered feet, little to no sleep, and a whole lotta fun.feet
