Kids and Chores
As a child gets older, parents start to think about the topic of kids and chores.
The question is at what age is kids and chores appropriate. Younger kids can learn responsibility by doing simple chores such as dusting and putting toys away. As the child gets older, other tasks such as vacuuming, and washing the car are more appropriate.
When it comes to kids and chores, giving children an allowance for doing tasks not only teaches responsibility, but also gives them purpose and makes them realize that doing work will create a reward.
